Immediately after leaving our hotel, the climbing began. Up and over the stunning yet relentless Col du Galibier. Then a long descent to Bourg d'Oisans (where we got our first glimpse of Alpe d'Huez). Then a climb to Oz-en-Oisans and our hotel.
